Classic Pop Presents: David Bowie – A Celebration Magazine Special
In this special 132 page David Bowie magazine we chart the phenomenal career of one of pop music’s most influential artists: David Bowie. From his humble Bromley beginnings to what would be his final record: 2016’s Blackstar.
The magazine features huge brand new features which give equal weight to each era, including his glam rock highs in the guise of Ziggy Stardust, his acclaimed Berlin period, the mainstream pop decade of the 1980s, his return to the avante garde in the 90’s and his glorious comeback nearly a decade after 2003’s Reality world tour.
The magazine also features a series on Bowie’s closest collaborators and mini-features on key albums, videos and film performances, plus a massive feature on Bowie’s fashion.
It incorporates new interviews with Tony Visconti, Ken Scott, Carmine Rojas, Paul Trynka and a beautifully written afterword from Bowie’s longest serving musical collaborator, the amazing Carlos Alomar.
We all worked hard to bring you this specially written tribute to one of our favourite, most dearly missed, artists. We hope you enjoy it!
