Alanis Morissette’s multi-platinum album, Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, is to be reissued as a 2LP set.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, the fourth studio album and second internationally released record by Alanis Morissette, recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, and Rhino is celebrating with a 2LP reissue featuring newly reimagined artwork and a digital deluxe edition with rare bonus tracks. ​

Out on 6 September 2024, Rhino will release the Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie (Thank U Edition) as a double album on black vinyl. An ultra clear-vinyl version will also be available exclusively at select retailers. ​While a new digital deluxe edition of the album is available through various DSPs.

The digital deluxe edition has the original 17 tracks alongside four bonus songs, two B-sides, an outtake, and a demo as well as a brand new Freemasons remix of Uninvited, a song written for the 1998 film City of Angels that won two Grammys.

Reuniting with Jagged Little Pill producer Glen Ballard, Morissette recorded Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie in Los Angeles.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie reached No.1 in several countries, including the US and peaked at No.3 in the UK albums chart. Kept off the top by U2’s The Best Of 1980-1990 & B-sides and Oasis’ The Masterplan on release in 1998, the LP explores a range of lyrical themes and includes the UK Top 5 hit Thank U, which was inspired by her trip to India. ​
