Mute take over Rough Trade East – #MuteFourPointZero

In celebration of their 40th anniversary, legendary label Mute will be taking over London’s Rough Trade East on Saturday 13 October.
In celebration of Mute’s 40 year history, the landmark label have announced a series of special events and releases. Perhaps among the most exciting of these is their full-day takeover of London’s Rough Trade East record shop and venue, which will be jam-packed with live performances.
Among these live shows will be a lunchtime modular set from Chris Carter and shopscapes from Simon Fisher Turner. The events will continue on into the evening with performances from Lost Under Heaven and A Certain Ratio, who will have released their career-spanning compilation acr:set, which includes two brand new tracks, the previous day. To top it all off, Maps will be DJing throughout and the bar will be open all day!

This event will run from 12:30pm to 9:30pm on Saturday 13 October. Entry will be free in the afternoon, but to guarantee your entry to the evening’s events you’ll need to reserve a free ticket here.
