Hans Zimmer and Seal are among the latest acts to be added to Andrea Bocelli’s BST concert at Hyde Park on Friday 5 July.

Legendary composer Hans Zimmer and soul vocalist Seal, will be supporting international superstar Andrea Bocelli at Hyde Park alongside Zucchero, Joaquina, Loren Allred, Andrea Griminelli, Rusanda Panfili, Virginia Bocelli, and dancers Angelica Gismondo and Francesco Costa.

They join previously announced: Katherine Jenkins OBE, Matteo Bocelli, who will be performing their own exclusive sets, also host Myleene Klass, opera star performers Nadine Sierra, Isabel Leonard and Luca Micheletti, and choir Crouch End Festival Chorus.

Hans Zimmer

Synth pioneer Zimmer, whose extraordinary melodies and modern compositions captivate a huge worldwide fan base across generations, has scored more than 500 projects across all mediums.

He has been honoured with two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, four Grammys, an American Music Award, and a Tony Award. His work highlights include Dune, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Thelma And Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, and Dunkirk.

Most recently, Zimmer won the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures for Dune. And, in 2019, Zimmer scored the live-action remake of The Lion King, for which he received a Grammy nomination. Zimmer’s music is truly iconic, so we can’t wait to welcome him to Hyde Park for an unforgettable show.

Seal

Seal will also perform alongside Bocelli. Emerging from England’s house music scene in 1990, Seal became the most popular British soul vocalist of the decade. By the mid-90s he was known for a distinctive fusion of soul, folk, pop, dance, and rock that brought him success on both sides of the Atlantic.

His first single Killer won him an Ivor Novello Award, to be followed by two more for Crazy and his most celebrated song Kiss From A Rose, as well as three BRIT Awards and four Grammy Awards only a few years later.

The lineup for American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2024 is set to be truly spectacular, with headliners SZA (29 June), Kings of Leon (30 June), Morgan Wallen (4 July), Andrea Bocelli (5 July), Robbie Williams (6 July), Shania Twain (7 July), Stevie Nicks (12 July), Kylie (13 July) and Stray Kids (14 July), with the full line up for each day to be announced, and All Things Orchestral on 28 June.
